Teaching Shakespeare

I’ve been passionate about Shakespeare since before I attended high school… however, I know this isn’t the case for many students… or teachers. Recently I returned from the greatest few weeks working with the Globe Theatre in London, developing a deeper love for Shakespeare and a passion for engaging even younger kids with his works.

I developed this teaching unit for use in middle and high school, for students with little or no knowledge of Shakespeare. It includes games, worksheets, presentations, workbooks, scripts, rehearsal advice and so much more. Everything you need for 6-8 weeks in class to put on a 25 minute excerpt. This unit was for “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the request of the class.

You can access this teaching resource here. I also have other resources for teaching Drama, Theatre and Shakespeare on the same site.
